The Greenwich Peninsula Masterplan is one of Europe’s largest regeneration schemes, for which Conran & Partners were commissioned to design the interiors for two residential towers: The Lighterman and The Waterman. And today we’re taking a look inside one of the modern apartments, where the biggest stars are the contemporary lamps and the incredible daylight that shines through all day!
The development in which Conran & Partners took part, includes 102 private and 123 affordable homes, a stunning penthouse apartment and contemporary communal spaces. Take a look at this one!
With ceiling-high windows, this modern apartment enjoys some of the best views over the Thames. Minimalist furniture spices up the place and lets us enjoy the overall beauty of the apartment.
Conran’s designers pay tribute to the Peninsula’s industrial past with polished nickel and a palette of soft grays. They have developed two interior schemes with a choice of light and dark finishes.
The bedrooms feature very light color palettes, creating a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. Throughout the house, we can see how ironmongery and brassware make subtle references to the site’s industrial past.
