Carpenter & Mason designed the space. The Tonchin Restaurant, a family type of restaurant wanted to bring the Japanese look without it being too traditional. The union of this plan and the design then put into place, made the restaurant be a success in terms of interior design projects.
The inspiration from the Japanese design style to decorate the restaurant came into play with the textiles, colours and techniques. The whole aesthetic, while having a Japanese feeling to it, it doesn’t saturate and doesn’t become too heavy on the customers.
The loft space design presents the world is long and narrow and with that it brings an organized and linear succession. The contemporary lighting used was also an optimal choice of lighting style bringing an amazing charisma to every table.
Indigo was the chosen colour, chosen the darker themes to bring a mysterious theme. To bring light to the dining booths the shade was used as a stain for timber posts and beams. The deep coloured blue was a contrast in the upholstered bench seating line.
The best part of the design of this special family restaurant is that it completes the decor with simple touches while staying flexible, simple and relaxing. The white colour brought to the bathroom interior gives it a shine, comfortable vibe.

Duke | A modern pendant lighting design that boasts a heavy nostalgic 70s groove vibe. Inspired by the simplicity of the 1970s, DelightFULL’s designers were able to create an iconic modern ceiling light that suits the most demanding setting. Produced in Portugal, it is handmade in brass and aluminium. The body, made of brass, has both a matte black and a gold-plated finish, while the shades are lacquered a glossy black on the outside. The inside is matte white, but it can also have a gold powder paint finish. It is a stunning bedroom ceiling light, but this large ceiling light can also be considered in other settings, such as a mid-century modern living room.
